With over three decades of experience in the music industry, Dennis Nieves is a seasoned music producer, engineer, and composer whose work spans genres and borders. Born in Connecticut, Dennis has built a remarkable career marked by innovation, collaboration, and a passion for creating timeless music.

1985 – Became lead singer and percussionist for Canadian R&B/Soul group Something Extra.

1985 – Produced the band's debut single for TCI Records.

1985 – Earned a Juno Award nomination for Best R&B Single, the inaugural year the category was introduced.

1993 – Relocated to Puerto Rico.

1993 – Joined Unik-ko as lead singer, producer, composer, and co-writer.

1993–1998 – Signed with Sony Music and spent five years producing and writing for Unik-ko.

Mid-1990s – Produced the Billboard hit "Juntos", a duet with Yuri.

Mid-1990s – Helped Unik-ko earn the TV Novelas "Group of the Year" Award.

1998 – Relocated to Miami, Florida to focus on music production and engineering.

Late 1990s – Founded D-Menace Music, specializing in House, Trance, Tribal, and Hip Hop remixes.

Late 1990s–2000s – Collaborated with producers including Emilio Estefan, Rudy Pérez, Lewis Martinee, and Roy Tavare.

Late 1990s–2000s – Received Gold and Platinum records for remixes including Elvis Crespo's "Suavemente", "Píntame", and the Power Mix Latino compilation.

2000s–Present – Produced and remixed music for international artists including Jennifer Lopez, Nelly Furtado, Shakira, Celia Cruz, Thalía, Luis Fonsi, Gloria Trevi, and many others.

2019 – Established D-Menace Music in Ontario, Canada, with recording studios near downtown Toronto.

2020 – Produced "Tiempo" for legendary R&B group Crack of Dawn, featuring lead vocalist Michael Dunston and Melba Moore.

2021 – Produced a mainstream remix of Natti Natasha's "Noches en Miami."

2021–2022 – Produced and completed Michael Dunston's debut solo EP, "Dunston 2.0."

2022 – Began producing rising artist Jazmin Headley's debut solo EP.

2022 – Produced the lead single "Sing Sing Sing," featuring dancehall legend Bounty Killer.

2020–2023 – Mentored and developed emerging artists throughout the Greater Toronto Area, providing vocal coaching, performance development, artist branding, and sound development across a diverse range of musical genres and cultural influences.
